Tonight we took Andrew the Zebra Trick-or-Treating  at the Bridgewater College Dorms!

Fall Fun!

Some fun activities from the past few weeks!

Andrew (aka Benny's Assistant Coach) watching from the sidelines.  He always offers such helpful encouragement to the guys at halftime.  Not really....although he does clap for the team at the appropriate times!

Dayton, the small town just down the road from Bridgewater, hosts an annual Autumn Celebration the first weekend of October.  We were amazed at how many vendors were there (apparently over 300 from like 13 different states!) 

You can't go to an Autumn Celebration without getting some kettle corn!!

This place is so precious!  They have a corn maze, petting zoo, a caurosel, a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins, and tons of activities for kids.  The three of us went one day after Benny was done with practice.

So Andrew absolutely loves being with his daddy.  It is very rare for him to sit still for very long, but he often will in Benny's lap.  Precious. 

Kathy came in town for a week to help out with Andrew while I had orientation at the hospital.  We are SO thankful she was able to come--Andrew loved his time with his Grammy, and we greatly appreciated the countless ways she helped us around the house.  We love you, Kathy!!

Andrew's Birthday Party

We had Andrew's birthday party on October 9th (the weekend after his birthday). 

We had a monkey theme, which seemed fitting for our silly little boy's personality!

Benny's mom was in town for the week and she made and iced ALL of the cupcakes

Andrew's First Birthday!!

October 4th was Andrew's First Birthday!!!

Since his birthday fell on a Tuesday, we celebrated together as a family and did lots of little things all day to make him feel extra special: We offered him his favorite foods (mashed potatotes, yogurt and fruit), went on walks and opened presents!

Benny and I found this fun little car at Once Upon a Child.  We let Andrew try it out in the store and he did NOT want to get out of it!  We decided it would make a great birthday present!  (He rode the car out of the store!)
